Job opening: Administrative Assistant

The Orchard Foundation seeks a full-time Administrative Assistant. The position serves as the primary administrative support for all activities of The Orchard Foundation. The Administrative Assistant also serves as the assistant to the Executive Director.
The Administrative Assistant position is responsible for developing and maintaining all support structures, including office technology, phones, filing, mailing, document processing and public/office interaction.
A minimum of a high school diploma and five years of clerical experience is required, with at least two years in an office management capacity. A bachelor's degree in a business related field is preferred. Advanced computer experience is required, including: Microsoft Office, Microsoft Outlook, database management and email. Successful candidate will be willing to learn new programs, including Member 365. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines with above average organizational and communication skills are needed. Must be a highly motivated self-starter able to work as a team player. Must demonstrate interest in the mission and programs of The Orchard Foundation and The Rapides Foundation.
